There's one action sequence where the MI5 Agent played by Michael Caine and his assistant try to follow Pierce Brosnan's Soviet agent. They get stuck in a traffic jam and Caine's character sees Brosnan up ahead. The assistant driving the Transit van rams the cars in front and behind (if only we could get away that) to make space to pull out and they take an offroad shortcut. There are really obvious continuity errors involving the van's broken numberplate. The Transit turns out to have really good offroad ability.

Also there's a bit where Caine has to catch a train, so one of his MI5 buddies races onto the platform in a Rover SD1 and does a very neat 180 handbrake turn, he jumps out and just catches the leaving train.

It seems I missed a few interesting cars (the Mini Moke, the Healey, the Rolls, a few others), but I've never been into adding too many background cars, I did it even less last year, and there were so many cars in that traffic jam scene it would have taken so long.

Just like Caine's other spy film, 'The Whistleblower', this is an excellent tableau of mid-80's Britain and the cars that were seen on the roads at the time, but are virtually extinct now.
The two black Sikorsky S-76's are probably playing at being Westland Lynx. Most likely from Bristow Helicopters from North Denes (Great Yarmouth).
We'll never see any F-111A or EF-111 in the skies of Britain again either...........

It's an average film, pretty dated now, although interesting to watch pre-Bond Pierce Brosnan playing an enemy (Soviet) spy.
