Well even if it does not look good, at least it is original! I was hoping to see these on IMCDb, after having seen them at Capri last year ![]() ![]() Now I wait for the Citroën C4 and the Fiat Marea... ![]() ![]() |

Complicated engineering as the Serena had sliding rear doors - means a full redesign of B-pillar to hang the new rear doors - surprised it's worth the effort. C4 and Marea much more straightforward with a tin opener and some blutack. |

Now the Serena's obsolete, its successor would be the ... [drumroll] ..... Nissan Juke Capri Taxi .... How many puking smileys would that deserve? Just looked again at the Mareas - they've been stretched as well as Anglegrindered (or is it Angleground?). The world's first customised Mareas - respect! -- Last edit: 2011-03-19 16:52:05 |

As to my knowledge, these are coachbuilt by Autocarrozzeria Nastro Luigi of Santa Maria la Carità, Naples, Italy. |

This one is likely a 2000 one (plate starts with BJ -just watching this on TV, I wasn't able to see the whole plate) |

I don't think the Serena was still in production in 2005 either, no idea where that's come from? |

Yes, indeed, at least not for European markets. I notice that the one in antp's picture has a CW plate, which would correspond to 2005, but isn't an original plate (possibly that specific example was transformed as used, so it was re-homologated and consequently got a new plate), maybe someone got confused with that one.. And this is also a 2004 movie.. -- Last edit: 2021-01-03 00:26:50 |

I found an article on a 2000 magazine which says that these were just being purchased, and they were based on 1.6 SLX version. |
