Looks similar to Beauford but the grille does not match.... |

I think It is a Beauford they just gave it a different grill and choped of the roof over the drivers cab to make it look closer to the reel Bugatti Royal. |

Beauford used Mini doors - these look too short. |

Well I cant find anything closer than a Beauford unless this is a Made for movie or a reel 1930s car? |

I thought about Panther Deville, but that does not quite right Link to "www.classicandperformancecar.com" to me the fenders, the hood length, wheelbase, all look about right, for a Beauford /vehicle_23547-Beauford-1997.html so I'd say its Beauford that has been heavily modified for the movie, so I would just list as Beauford untill we find something closer. -- Last edit: 2011-12-14 23:34:11 |

Or keep it as unknown rather than trying to randomly find something that does not match anyway ![]() |

It's definitely not a Beauford. Never, ever in a million years. It bears even less physical similarity to one than I bear to Mila Kunis. |

Raul1983 said that the grill doesn't match, and I found a Beauford with a matching grill http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/images/img/300/beauford-front.jpg and the body looks close to this Beauford apart from the windshield and doors /vehicle_23547-Beauford-1997.html |

I'm quite sure that until recent years the trade restrictions in China (I don't believe they even joined the WTO until quite recently) would make it very difficult (maybe even impossible) to import something from Britain into there. So why would the producers go to all that trouble when there are plenty of indigenous Chinese retro styled cars that could be used. Crikey, It would even be easier to use an actual classic car or knock something together yourself than to get something from the West into a communist state. Even now you can't access You Tube there: /vehicle.php?id=457799 |

I think it's made for movie. There have been very few Chinese neoclassics and even those have been built in extremely limited numbers. Hasn't it already appeared once on the site? |

It's probably one of the cars at Shanghai Film Park. http://www.shfilmpark.com/en/list.aspx?nid=56 |

I really don't think this can be anything else except a Made for Movie. |

![]() The site say it is a Duesenberg...... ![]() |

You really shouldn't take their word for it - they probably have no idea what a Duesenberg actually is. |
