Mercedes W126 in the normal version, thus also not SEL and this model did not give it also as 450 (260SE,280S,280SE,280SEL,300SE,300SEL,300SD,350SD,350SDL,380SE,380SEL,420SE,420SEL,500SE,500SEL,560SE,560SEL) |

It is a SEL, but a 420, as written on the rear and visible few times in the chase. From Ford_Guy: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2011-12-27 11:42:33 (Ford_Guy) |

I've seen this movie a few days ago. One beautiful '87-'88 black W126 420 SEL, with velvet interior, was used in the chase at half movie. Some good shots and stunts, but especially ramming - though it wasn't so damaged during the chase, it was smashed by a truck (last thumbnail). ![]() |

Just thinking about the bit with the ramming match with the Grand Am.....in real life, that Pontiac would have been in 100,000 pieces after going 1 on 1 with this German behemoth! |
