Oy gevalt! Who dares to call such a dull bread-and-butter wagon 'Future' (which is the translation of the French 'Avenir')... |

I was trying to remember what that meant. Ranks along with the recently mentioned Toyota WISH or Mitsubishi Carisma. |

Nissan had always "a bad hand" for finding names. Not only, that their cars are dull and boring anyways (o.k., not all. Sorry, an_unusual_eye ![]() |

On another comment thread we have a 'Grandeur' that is based on a 'Debonair'. I'll never forget Mazda Bongo Friendee The fact that Bongo is slang for pornography in the UK which makes it doubly funny. -- Last edit: 2010-10-17 00:11:10 |

Disagree - they're usually pretty good underneath, despite bonkers names and either bland or strange shapes. Primera, Note, Micra, Qashqai are all good driving cars - even the Almera. Lots of neat design details inside which always work properly and are well thought out. Toyotas are dross in comparison. -- Last edit: 2010-10-17 00:22:00 |

Maybe they are good to drive and reliable - but all without an own character. You forget them totally, just after you were getting out of them. Especially the Primera is an example for facelessness as its worst. |
