 Technically, this is a Miesen Bonna 124 L, manufactured under license by VBK (Vestfold Bil & Karosseri A/S) from Horten, Norway. "Rescueline 124 L" is the VBK model name.

 I think what we got here is a borrowed plate. The ambulance itself dates visually from the 1991-93 period unless it's been subject to extensive remodelling. Furthermore, the VIN is for a W123, not a W124, and ambulances were almost exclusively fueled by gasoline back then, as diesels performed poorly until the introduction of effective turbodiesels in the mid-to-late 1990s. Should be a 260 E or 280 E from 1991-1993.

Also, I compared the weight and wheelbase data to a real Rescueline, and none added up. And the owner should have been listed as 'Oslo Kommune' if it were a real ambulance, but no such owner was listed.
