I've got to agree...although you don't actually see the impact. I guess they set up the "crashed" vehicles carefully as a static shot. Jacking up and removing parts to keep any actual damage to a minimum, so they could be completely restored later. -- Last edit: 2006-04-04 13:07:18 |

These days, the cars wrecked are usually rolling dummies and/or vehicles on modern platforms and drivetrains. There may be some parts from an original, but very rarely is an intact and original vehicle wrecked. The aren't really crashed. In this case the damaged would look different. They just constructed the scene without major damages. We have some lovely pics in the database, where "crashed" cars were prepared with dirt and crinkled paper and tin-foil. -- Last edit: 2009-05-19 21:17:29 |
