The 'Dormobile' is a camper conversion done by 'Martin Walter' using all sorts of vans and wagons as base vehicle. Sunbar ◊ 2006-09-21 00:22	'Dormobile' was so popular at the time that it was applied to almost any van with windows even if it was not made by them. So the scriptwriters were only using a name that anyone would immediately know.

dsl ◊ 2012-12-18 22:07	If so and the plate is not a total fake, 256 DNY would fit - July-Sept 59, Glamorgan - but someone has done some deliberate camouflage of last letter. DNW was Leeds Aug/Sept 62, DNV Northants Feb-March 63.
