Debut event for the works Sprite team. PMO 200 a famous Sprite plate - used on 58-59 works Sprites (probably more than one as they switched plates around - its last works event 1959 Liege-Rome-Liege it had been fully Sebringed). It was then given to Sprinzel who used PMO 200 on his various Spridgets, TR3A and other entries, including a hardtop Midget on the 1968 London-Sydney Marathon (with a massive roof-mounted auxiliary fuel tank). |
