Southern Pacific locomotive #2451, a 'Pacific' Class P-5 4-6-2 built by Baldwin, struck a 7-ton Mack truck hauling a load of sand for Consolidated Rock Products Company (Conrock) at a crossing in Los Angeles on October 19, 1935, and derailed; injuries, but no fatalities, and some impressive pictures:
