Its a 78 Lincoln Towncar. I have one just like it in the yard right now. |

It's a 1977-1979 Lincoln Continental, from the front you can't distinguish them. '77 has got different dashboard then 78-79 and fender skirts. Town Car (or Town Coupe) it's just a interior option which includes power vent windows, dual comfort front seats and pillow style upholstery. So it's difficult to say if it's Continental Town Car or just 'regular' Continental unless you see the interior or the Town Car script which is on the front fender. |

^He's right; the model name is Continental, Town Car was mearly an option package until 81 and there is no way to tell if it has that option based on this picture, or even the number of doors. It should be listed as 1977 Lincoln Continental |

A slight addition to fully clarify. The 1979 "Collectors Edition" trimmed models could be distinguished from the front by their gold-toned grilles. -- Last edit: 2011-10-28 20:30:36 |
