idk, i dont think thats an f-150, f-150's dont have separate turnsignals, I want to say that that is some toyota truck |

It looks like a Nissan pickup (Frontier or Hardbody) to me. |

I don't think it's background because Bill Murray has one scene where his character pretends to be a film director and says something to the effect of "cue the truck." |

It's background -- otherwise every single car that appears in the same place multiple times is 2 stars. |

This shot appears twice. |

We can't list this as a "Nissan Pickup" if the model can't be identifed then we should leave it blank like we do with other vehicles on this site. We also have "Toyota Trucks" and this should be sorted out as well. |

What do you mean? They were referenced by that name in USA, it is not a problem of identification. |

This is a fairly new model here. New evidence, by perusing the brochures, shows us that chrome door handles debuted for the 1990 refresh. Chrome mirrors caps, also per the brochures, debuted in 1991 MY. This is somewhere in the 1990-1993 range as you can clearly see the chrome handle vs the body color of the truck. Updating. Edit: Also, just to add to the manufacture here. The consensus was these were all assembled here in the states. This is true of the 1993-1997 models. However, 1986-1992 I have found Japanese built models perusing used car sites and salvage sites. I listed a few in the past with VINs. -- Last edit: 2022-10-17 16:25:04 |
