Agree - another and yet another. Seems Lanchester Fourteen Roadrider De Luxe is the full ID but also known as Lanchester 14/2, introduced late 38 and the last pre-war Lanchester, 1850 made. Used the Daimler DB17 (New Fifteen) body with a smaller engine, but this square side-mounted plate seems unique to the Lanchester with Daimler using rectangular format across the rear panel. |

Yes, an LA14/2 or far less likely, a 14/3. Although both the Roadrider de-Luxe and New Fifteen (DB17/1) were introduced to the public in October 1937, it is a misnomer that they shared a body shell. The wheelbase of the Lanchester is a full four inches shorter than that of the Daimler. |
