Do I see Pontiac Firefly script at the front fender at the second thumbnail provided by Bahraini Carguy? https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1988_Pontiac_Firefly,_front_right.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Cultus#GM-badged -- Last edit: 2024-08-27 22:47:19 |

I'm puzzled to be honest, the grille looks like a Sprint but the font on the fender definitely looks like it's written Firefly. We know that the following generation of the Swift were exported and sold in the Gulf as a Firefly indeed but i'm really not sure about this generation. I found this Saudi GM dealership brochure from mid-late 80s that has photos of the showroom and one of them contains this car. Trouble is that it's far away from the camera plus it's obstructed by a Buick Century and a Fleetwood ![]() I'm going through few other Omani show's from 1991 or so just in case said car reappears (it does happen) but so far, no luck. Other Pontiac's like the 6000 and a Sunburst did appear though. -- Last edit: 2024-08-28 05:16:14 |
