Officially imported US Fords thru Lincoln Cars Ltd on Regent St often ended up with similar permutations to LLH 5D - we've got some Galaxies 500s with similar - eg OGH 5E. Officially approved RHD Mustangs were converted here for several years by Ruddspeed - see also this tag from a 69 convertible. Grey phone boxes were allowed in scenic locations (for instance National Parks) where red was felt to be too intrusive, but putting them in a railway station seems a bit too precious. |
