I wouldn't call it "made for movie", but whatever it is, it certainly doesn't look like anything from that time period. Body in itself looks authentic though. |

The body is definitely authentic. Thinking Blue Bird, but not sure. I believe that the engine/chassis section is also authentic |

This it what it apparently looked like back in 2018, in some way operated by Cinecittà Studios of Rome. OK, maybe "operated" is a big word in this context... On my screen the yellow in the main pic is a lot brighter yellow than seen in the 2018 picture, so the bus might have been repainted since. The wipers are still in the exact same position, though, so maybe "repainted" is another big word in this context... "showered with yellow paint"! |

I was thinking Thomas Built Buses for the body |

+1 for Thomas Built - coachbuilding pattern incl. partitioning of the sheet metal and riveting, rain gutter, entry with windows and hinges, A-pillar and the windshield frame appear to be made by the same standards as this 1948 Thomas Built Dodge. |

Doesnt look like anything American tho. The front end is reminiscen of a 1950s-1960s Volvo truck but it is most certainly not that. Maybe made-for movie or something? |

Made for movie seems right. To be honest, the front looks like it’s been fabricated to appear like an older vehicle. |
