No 'made for N' features visible other than LHD so not sure about keeping it. Similar color and wheels on this one, but the similarities stop there. Then again, it's a picture from 2014 and the mirrors and wipers may have been replaced since then. It would seem strange to remove the repeaters though. Only speculating. List of possible candidates. There's a blue 1970 model (FS 14907) in the Stavanger area listed as 'undergoing restoration' in 2018. That would explain the missing repeater (1971+), strange plate and obvious list seen in the third thumb. Sadly, this one seems to have been scrapped in 2023. It's common that set decorators contact owners of vintage cars in questionable states and spice them up for the shoot. I got contacted about the Passat a few years ago, sadly it had already been sold by then. |
