That's a Sapphire 346 limousine, and not a STAR. A 346 limousine has four 'suicide' doors, whereas a STAR limousine only has 'suicide' rear doors. The radiator shell is also 346. Could the registration mark possibly be "XKE"? -- Last edit: 2021-12-04 22:18:04 |

XKE 437 = Kent, March 56. 381 Sapphire 346 limos made March 55 until some point in 1959 - final examples overlapped with Oct 58 onwards Star saloon as Star limo did not get going until early 1960. |
