They were sold officially in Holland, though. |

They were sold in Finland for some time in the late 80s and early 90s and were even quite popular as wagons, if I remember correctly. Around 1992 the Taurus was discontinued as the importer decided to focus on the Mercury Sable instead, which was sold up until about 1995, possibly because of Finland joining the European Union, which might have made it less profitable to import American cars. -- Last edit: 2011-05-12 23:20:21 |

Not in Germany, AFAIK. I've only seen a couple that were left behind by American soldiers. |

BTW, shouldn't this be a 1989-91 going by cieraguy's comment on the page rjluna2 linked to? |

Quite a few were sold here during the 1980s - early 90s. American wagons sold quite well here throughout the 1980s, many of them survive, but they're usually quite expensive like all other American cars not made in Austria. Of course, no American wagons are officially sold here anymore. |

I've only ever seen a single Taurus in Germany - a silver 1998-99 wagon, just a blur for a few seconds. |
