They're actually just people movers, mostly used by but not especially designed for funeral use.

 @AnimatronixX: years ago there was a court proceeding in Germany about such decoration - cotton balls, placed with hand creme on a Mercedes 600 [W100] with very matt original paintwork.
The question was, if the originality of the car was destroyed, because after removing the cotton balls the spots of the hand creme stayed shiny.

Err, no. Here my question was seriously meant.
It's usual in Britain, that Hearses are mainly available in a set of two - the Hearse plus a stretched six door Limo for the mourners.

Years ago my brother-in-law bought such a six-door Nilsson 740 nearby Stonehenge.
It was a disaster. Although the low mileage the condition was bad - and the rust problems worst.
It was clearly visible, that Nilsson don't offer premium workmanship.

P.S. some weeks ago AnimatronixX has posted a link to such a Hearse-set of my Vauxhal Vectra. Grotesquely overpriced clunkers (something around 20.000 GBP IIRC)

 @Gamer: I know Ingo personally and we met various times through the years. You tend to make quick assumptions at times and maybe still don't know my sense of humour. ;)

@Ingo: Another example of "when idiots get married"... I hope the W100 owners won this court! Regarding the Nilssons: From all the Nilsson hearse owners I know I never heard anything like that and they seem quite happy with the quality. Quite interesting, though, as your brother-in-law was the first disappointed Nilsson owner I heard of. Was it a genuine Nilsson? (Various smaller UK coachbuilders offered these Volvo limousines, too).
