3 Litre Coupé. Odd name for a sedan, they also came as 3 Litre Saloon with a different roofline |

Up to me it is not a 3Litre (but I can't see the thumbnails picture because Imageshack defect at the moment!!!  ) , but a 3,5Litre MkIII Coupé, because of the 2 additional lights,and spécifics rims appearing on 1968 models. The engine was a V8 from Buick.The Coupé was shown at London in 1962, and produced from 1963 till 1973/74 (I guess..when the SD1 chassis arrived) It was call the Coupé because of its slopped shape roofline and windscreen, lower height of 5cm which provided a singular esthetic shape for this car....(I love it) |
