The grille looks like a 1938 Ford DeLuxe, but the round headlights don't match (the second car in the main pic has got the drop shaped 1938 lights). So the beige coupe must be a 1939 Standard Coupe. |

The grille and the horizontal V8 emblem on the side of the hood are those of a Ford DeLuxe 81A 1938 in this case a 5 window coupe .The drop shaped oval headlights have been modified to round ones including upper standing lights. It is neither a 1938 standard ( those had a slightly modified 1937 body) nor a 1939 standard ( identifiable by a full letter Ford script in place of the horizontal V8 and by 2 chrome strips in the grille).Reason for headlight modification may be a unit exported outside of the US or a later change. |
