772 is the optical upgrade, yes - not fully AMG, but differs from the standard look P96 consists of 18" wheels, upgraded brakes with perforated discs (to help remove gases building up during heavy braking), sport suspension, dual exhaust (recognizable by trapezoid chromed rear ends), and a fully manual gear mode was added Link to "media.daimler.com" The T was omitted from the vehicles as the designations were changed 1994, but lived on in model listings for several years - maybe our native German users would know more |
