Without seeing the front wings or rear corners it is pretty much impossible to say weather it is an M3 or M5. Any other pics available? |

no but as info the military vehicles were mostly supllied by Bovington Tank museum so this should be from their inventory very sure more shots in the actual movie -- Last edit: 2014-10-12 23:39:21 |

The Sherman "Fury" and Tiger were from Bovington, and possibly some of the other Shermans, most of the softskin and semi tracked armour came from collectors and film supply companies. The Sd.Kfz.7, Sd.Kfz.251, Kettenkrad, Kubelwagen and Hetzer all came from Bruce Crompton. http://www.axistrackservices.com/ Given the attention to accuracy this halftrack is likely to be a White M3A1. |

Additional pics showing the rear profile would be helpful. Does not appear to be an A1 model as there is no pulpit mount. The outboard positions of the two gunners in the rear suggest the early style "skate rail". Possibly an M2 stowage bin line visible but not clear behind the Mussette bag hanging off the side. Most likely M3. |
