Don: This a '43 sedan? Mech: Mostly. Don: What'd you do to it? Mech: Made some improvements. It's got a '60 Nailhead, backed up '39 LaSalle transmission, and a '40 banjo rear end. Don: Two Fords and a Buick. *points at the wheels* What happened here? Mech: Dropped the spindle 4 inches. You know anything about hot rods? Don: No, but I remember these. I used to sell them. Used. Mech 2: All motor, no weight. Don: How fast does it go? Mech: *Points at one hot rod* Well, that one does a quarter in 11 seconds. *Points at another hot rod* This one's going to scare people. Don: *Points at the third hot rod* Yeah, the color on that one, I've never seen anything like it. |
