Square headlights appeared in 1979 (in Japan), only the sportier ones had round headlights. This one is an early model for the headlight surrounds and bumper, however, it could still be 1981 by plate, since the second facelift appeared in October, 1981 (in Japan). |

Okay, I know this is slightly off-topic, but I swear there was a (Japanese?) commercial for the Gemini where a bunch of voices shouted positive stuff like "It's so cute!" and so on. I saw it on Youtube ages ago but haven't been able to find it since. |
