It annoys me that most new estate cars (station wagons) have so little space in the back, they sacrifice load space for sleeker rear ends. They should be the more sensible alternative to SUVs but how can they be if you can't fit anything in the boot? -- Last edit: 2009-12-05 18:46:22 |

You are very correct, G-Mann. |

The rear side windows are so, so, so incredibly tiny. Not only does it make it impossible to see out of the car but it just looks wrong. Wagons should have sizeable windows back there, not little slits. The taillights are way too big as well, they look like they're from a freaking Volvo wagon. That's not a compliment. I don't understand why everyone's going so crazy over this awkward thing. -- Last edit: 2009-12-05 19:53:08 |

*sigh* A Cadillac Station Wagon... I still wish they had phased out the brand in 2002, just to close the circle of 100 years "Standard of the world", before Cadillac became a spoof of itself. |

Well, I certainly don't wish the Cadillac brand was gone but I agree the true, classic Cadillac is no more. That car just doesn't look the way a Cadillac should to me. Give me a Lincoln Town Car any day. |

G-MANN >> indeed, the old wagons like Renault 21 Nevada or square-shape Volvo wagons seem much more optimized for space... Ambulances and Hearses were already kind of wagons ![]() |

@ G-MANN: Oddly enough, it was GM who first put the same idea - space sacrificed to sleekness - into my head. Back in the 70s, the Vauxhall Victor [FE] and Viva [HC] estates both looked like fastbacks from the rear. Fortunately no other British manufacturers followed suit. |

Oh, there' s a huge difference: Professional cars of that kind are people movers (other than cargo vehicles, shooting breaks etc.) and they were never factory-built by Cadillac. ![]() |

I found an article that really match what your opinion all about on this vehicle ![]() Link to "www.nytimes.com" |
