2000-2003 model:

A second 2000-2003 model was also used during the chase scene:

At one point an older 1997-1999 Malibu is used.

What happened to the image of it getting hit by the bus?? That was one of my favorite screen captures on IMCDb, put it back at once

Please?

I wouldn't know how to put back an image I replaced. I was contemplating keeping the original one but figured I'd instead put one up where the car wasn't destroyed/being destroyed.

Sorry for the bluntness, but I adored that screencapture like you wouldn't believe.

Anyway one of points of IMCDb is try to give an "action" shot when available, not only to look cool but to show the "role" of the vehicle and the kinds of things it did ;)

I didn't realize that was a main point. I thought it was to provide the best capture of a car possible. Anyhow, I see where you're coming from and I'd be more than willing to change the image back if possible. If not then someone could maybe make the capture from the HD trailer again.

Anyhow, I apologize but I would have probably kept it if you had commented on how much you loved it before ;)

Heh, I thought about commenting originally but I try to keep "useless" comments (i.e. opinions rather than helpful, factual information) to a bare minimum. I don't want to fill up the database with useless blabber, but I suppose our conversation here is rather a waste itself. Hope antp doesn't see this...

Anyway I'm not mad, you had no way to know. If it's the only way to get it back I'll go rent the movie and add it myself

I understand ;) I hope antp can help recover the image. Or maybe Neptune still has the original HD image saved on his imageshack account.

I added the pic in Neptune's comment.
In this case the pic was good, it could have been kept... well now you do what you want, all pics are there :D

As I said earlier, I had debated whether to change it or not. But in any case it's clearly a favorite so I'll keep it. Thanks antp.
