The Jeep sure looks like a Willys MB/Ford GPW to me, perhaps they have the wrong helmets...

This is a 1943 Willys MB, Originally a radio jeep (British Army)I bought it from a garage in Chagford, Devon, (they used it as their breakdown truck) for £160, this scene was filmed at Saunton Sands, N Devon, which was as close as we could get to Anzio, Italy. British Army scene. (I'm driving the jeep)took two days to film this scene, three weeks to film the beach scene in total.
