1066 or 1466, the only outward difference in the two is the diameter of the rear axles are 1/8 inch larger on the 14. The 1566 is the other turbocharged model in this series, and it has an obviously larger rear axle diameter, and it has a much different rear axle housing shape with planetary final drive gears instead of the more traditional bull-and-pinion gear finals drives. All 1066, 1466, and 1566's were turbocharged. IH just liked to call out the turbo on their larger tractors. -- Last edit: 2010-01-17 21:06:24 |
