I wonder what a 70's Allegro is doing in a film about the 50s & 60s?

good point :) It doesn't stand up to a design 30 years its senior very well does it...

The VW Beetle looks so stronger in this crash test, the Allegro was very damaged and destroyed

Being undamaged/stronger is not especially a good thing, as the car should absorb the shock rather than send it to the occupants. I remember a crash test picture between 60s Mercedes and VW Beetle, the Mercedes was shortened and the Beetle nearly intact, but actually the Mercedes is much safer.

...but you wouldn't hear that from this Allegro driver :) There's crumple zones and crumpling cars...

Compare with /vehicle_380367-Austin-Allegro-ADO67-1973.html - looks same location, probably not UK.
