1966 ( by the numberplate ) Matchbox had one of these ( although a Morris version ) in blue with BUILDERS Supply Company written on the sides. |

This has a Morris badge,Morris grille models phased out in sometime in 1965,then Morris badged models had the same grille has Austin models,no exact information when Morris grille phased out,but J2 post telephone vans purchased in 1965 had Morris badges and Austin grilles,hence why think 1965. |

^ 1965 for commonised Austin & Morris J2 grille is consistent with the same year as the Austin S200/T200 etc. & Morris FG vans and trucks commonised grilles. Also 1965 for the commonised grille on the Austin and Morris versions of the J4. -- Last edit: 2019-06-20 19:53:09 |
