mayorbill11 ◊ 2006-08-09 02:35	that bodystyle was made from 1980-1984. the model oldsmobile 98 was built since the 1940s or 50s until 1997 or 1998. in the 1980s it was called Regency 98, but at other times it was just '98' or 'ninety eight' the oldsmobile Delta 88 was the short wheelbase version of the 98, it had different rear doors, a different rear window and different tail lights. Danny Boy ◊ 2013-09-11 06:51	The name was actually Ninety-Eight Regency. And it had that name on many or all models from the 70's through the 90's. The Delta 88 has a wheelbase only 3 inches shorter than the Ninety-Eight. So I wouldn't really call it the shorter wheelbase version of the Ninety-Eight. It is actually a lower model Oldsmobile than the Ninety-Eight. True that it has the same front end and different rear end. It also has a different interior.
