well the movie was filmed in 1989-1990 maybe not everyone had switched over to the MN12 1989 Thunderbird body? Should be a 1990 ASC McLaren built Turbo Grand Prix, though it could be an 89... They had something to the effect of 8 of them for the movie. |

This is an '89 Turbo Grand Prix. The 1990 TGPs had body color mirrors and did not have the black border around the lights. All the TGPs used for this film were 89s. |

Actually I own a 1990 and it and most 1990s I've seen have black mirrors not body colored ones. The body colored ones were a rare option. Funny enough I bought mine in Wilksboro North Carolina. Ya never know hah. |
