![]() “Intellect is poison.” Very heavy duty propaganda piece built around the assasination of Reinhardt Heydrich and the resulting repercussions. Director Douglas Sirk had actually met Heydrich before the war and I wonder how much that informed John Carradine's performance as he has an absolute blast trying to live up to the title, although he has far too little screen time.
