I,if don't recall badly,seems that car derives by a mid Seventies'Ford Torino Wagon(recall vaguely a scene with that car parked outside Fantasy Island's hotel and front end was inequivocally Torino-alike--maybe the series was sponsored by Ford at time) |

I would think if it is the exact same car in the film "Charlies Angeles" (another Spelling pulp product), the vehicle that is actually blown up as I understand by reading the link to that film, was likely a stand-in. |
