![]() ![]() Another Children's Film Foundation production, with a difficult-to-explain storyline, but I'll try. A gang of children operate a crime-fighting unit from a converted canal boat patrolling London's canals, along with 2 shore-based kids who pedal around on Chopper bikes. Meanwhile London Zoo has got hold of a real yeti from deepest yetiland as an exhibit, which lives on ice lollipops. Some naughty men steal the yeti from the zoo for a very rich collector ![]() and escape on another canal boat. But after a high speed (not) canal chase, the kids foil their evil plans, and the yeti is rescued safe and sound. Hoorah! Rejects: 1] Bedford collection: - CF Luton van which smells film crew; dead CA Mk2 ![]() ![]() - shiny TK; HA with 68-69 G plate ![]() ![]() 2] more vans - grey Anglia possible crew car seen again later ![]() ![]() 3] Rootes-jewels - Super Minx estate; Humber Imperial ![]() ![]() 4] Fords - Cortina Mk3 basic; Consul Mk2 Deluxe; Anglia boyracer with VW ![]() ![]() ![]() 5] BMC collection - Wolseley 18/85 (F-plate); Austin A95; BMC Noddy van ![]() ![]() ![]() ... and for imYetidb some incredibly rare captures of Yenticulus Yenticulus ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I actually know a film very similar to this which is The Mystery of the Million Dollar Hockey Puck. It has similar trappings to this; independent children's film, child actors, kids trying to catch or stop crooks, and a character in a silly costume. It's basically the Canadian equivalent to one of these and with hockey. I would include a link to it, but the YouTube video of the film has been copyright-claimed ![]() |
