If it is a Ford, I don't really think it would be an F-100. That was strictly a half-ton truck made before 1982. |

From what little I can see, it looks like one. Light-duty tow trucks tend to be no less than one ton trucks, so if this is a Chevy it's a C-30. |

They did, but they're not as common as they used to be. Light recovery nowadays is usually by beaver-tail 7.5-tonne trucks; only heavy stuff is recovered by suspended-tow trucks. |
