Lateef wrote why are you posting a [:heink] on every other page? [:heink] - nuff said

Just meant as a coy wink not to ignore important things. I cannot check the movies by myself for that. At first they aren't available in Germany and if yes, I'm couldn't bear them. Not only a poor copy - cheeky product placement, too. Even if I would know, that there's "my" car included, I would wait for someone else, who watch this concotion and extract it :p

No, ;) is a coy wink, [:heink] is more like a disapproving stare.

Yuck, I hate the ;) smiley, it looks like you're saying "There, there little kid, you're wrong and I like to correct you like a smug"

I don't think of it quite that way myself, but I agree at times it's overused. But it can be useful just to let people know you're not telling them off or anything, I think that's why it's used a lot (but then sometimes you feel if don't use this or another "friendly" smiley people might take offence).

I think [:heink] is more like what you use if someone says something weird.
