"Diary of a Wimpy Kid" Not a hamburger or a concrete mixer in sight. |

Come on John, you can't tell me you haven't heard of this series before. Didn't Frank have an Audi TT in one of the books, that Manny put a bumper sticker on the door and Greg scratched up with steel wool after trying to remove it? -- Last edit: 2022-04-23 22:02:41 |

Gamer, I may have heard of it, but it has been my extreme good fortune never to have had to watch it. An explanation of the concrete mixer comment. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Wimpey -- Last edit: 2022-04-23 22:11:00 |

No, I didn't know about the books. I went straight from Capt. W E Johns to Isaac Asimov. -- Last edit: 2022-04-23 22:13:29 |

Heh, I learned to read when I was maybe four, but never really read a real 200-page book until I was eighteen. |

i've learned to read at a young age too but never read the books ( its pretty hard to kick me off from a Stephen King book when i read, unless its a car-related or mysteries one and before the movies came out i wasn't aware they were originally from books ) |

Biggles Flies Undone?? |

Why read 448 pages when there's the excellent movie with Ronald Colman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGJ1xww9bb8 I once pretended I read Planet of the Apes the novel, unfortunately the teacher was not an idiot. |

1) We saw the film as part of the course. 2) Biggles flies undone; I often wondered about Algy. |

You know, a fully-animated Diary of a Wimpy Kid film with the book's art style would be amazing, I might add... ![]() |

That happened in the 6th book, Cabin Fever. ![]() Could be an TT Mk2 Coupé (granted it looks quite generic) |

Only good part of this film was the Psycho parody. Otherwise, you're better off reading the book. |
◊ 2025-03-25 18:24 |
Agreed. But even so, the book is one of the weaker ones in the series in my opinion. I used to be a huge Diary of a Wimpy Kid nut when I was in elementary... ![]() |
