According to IMDb, the scenes are fake Germany lanscapes, though some looks rather realistics: /vehicle_712233-Ford-M8-Greyhound-1943.html or /vehicle_712193.html .... but I think some archives are used though.

But most scenes taking place in what it's meant to be a German small city is too obviously "Hollywood's studio"... would fit better a Western "movie" :/
