Some kind of cross-over between Death Race and Mad Max, where some cars run on human blood because gasoline is too expensive. Filmed in South Africa. -- Last edit: 2017-06-15 19:51:32 |

Sounds like the M54. |

I thought the M54 was a sleepy little motorway. Shrewsbury and Telford aren't known for being centres of excitement or depravity. Can't imagine cars running on blood - it dries at fairly low temperatures, so must be some sort of replacement for the internal combustion engine. Would make more sense to use other human products - think poo! - which have gas-producing components and would burn. In which case it makes sense to keep people alive so they continue to produce fuel, but I suppose the film would lose some dramatic elements .... |

indeed And yes the engines are different (with integrated grinder to put the corpse directly in them), it is not just a replacement of fuel |

... So they could just as easily be powered by animals. Therefore keep people alive and get them to farm/breed sheep, rabbits, cats, gerbils, gazelles, heffalumps etc. Job done. |

I guess only human blood burns right... |

The M54 branches off the M6 just north of Walsall and travels near scenes of unrealised depravity like Wedges Mills and Shifnal. Automobiles powered by illicitly obtained blood products may well be in use, especially on match days at Shrewsbury town. |

I guess, indeed, there must be something special in it |

does blood types works like octane levels ? |

My blood is about 60% ethanol, unfortunately it rots the rubber in the fuel system. It's also group A Rh -ve, which is a bit like leaded petrol or full fat cream - marvellous! |

I agree, I imagine human blood would clog the fuel injectors (or carburetor jets) fairly quickly and possibly foul the spark plugs |
