Personally, I think AI is hopelessly overrated and can be championed only by those who have never seen AI-generated subtitles/transcripts and it makes me feel very sorry for the deaf/hard of hearing who have no way of knowing they are served subtitles like "one night Nog arrives" (in a show where no Nog, whatever that may be, has ever been mentioned) in place of "one night in our garage", although my personal 'favorite' is "lead the horse" for "lederhosen"... AI clearly has no concept of context. |
