Some anachronisms:
- Jeep parked in the 38th minute (Compass?)
- unknown sedan (Intrigue?)

Jeep Compass looks right to me
unknown sedan is a coupe, a Ford Thunderbird

The original It was filmed in British Columbia as Maine. I think one of the only Stephen King stories actually filmed and set in Maine is Pet Sematary. A lot of times filming will happen at another location(s) then where the story is set.

It's takes place in a small America town in the 1980's, do you think there will be a lot of Japanese cars, the fact there is one Toyota is surprising.

I grew up in northern New England in the '80s, there were a lot more Japanese cars and late model domestic FWD 4-cylinders than you see in recently-made period movies and a LOT FEWER pre-Malaise Era V8 rwd daily drivers, particularly after 1985 or so. They rusted out, everything did. 10 years was considered pretty much the lifespan of a car before there wasn't enough left to attach the rust repairs to, and anytime after year 5 any mechanical repairs were done or not with an eye to whether there was enough body left to make the repair cost amortize itself. Front drive was a real improvement in winter traction so there were a lot of early and eager adopters, too.
