This is where I find adding foreign titles a little silly (but ignore me if you want to). If someone like me (who doesn't know Italian) understands what "grande" means, surely people over there know what "Big" means? I'm not saying we're any better but we don't usually call Les Misérables "The Miserable". -- Last edit: 2009-10-01 13:40:22 |

And now someone's rubbed it in by adding more foreign titles ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2009-10-01 16:50:32 |

Upgrading to HD now, photos will be at 1.85:1 (was clarified) aspect ratio (which the ratios are still going to be my metaphorical death).![]() Upgraded to HD. My gripe with the HD remaster they did for this film is that they did not do a very good job on it. It only looks a small bit better than the DVD, but not very much. It is a great and hilarious film though. A nice shot of the Ocean at the end of the film: ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-06-18 06:56:13 |

Ratios are often given on technical specs on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118715/technical?ref_=tt_dt_spec These should be 1.85:1. |

I wonder what car The Dude would drive if The Big Lebowski were filmed in 2017. Since the story is set 7 years before the film's release and the car is 18-years old, then I guess The Dude would be driving a beat-up 1992 Buick Roadmaster, but since American cars aren't very popular in California, then I guess he would be driving a beat-up 1992 Toyota Cressida. |

@Kartkidbut: some of your replacements were not better than current screenshots, so I've deleted them without replacing. |

I think I'll try it again, there was a 4K one in this film, and It's one of the best films ever made in 1998, So.... ![]() (Comment can be deleted after I do the replacements.) -- Last edit: 2022-10-05 17:52:07 |
