The film was good, as far as action, but the storyline was like a fusion of Die Hard 3 and Speed. Also, unfortunately, there were at times when the action in the movie became very Hollywoodfied ...  |

I would hesitate before calling any movie of this type "good"  Having said that, there are some that are better than others. For some action/adventure movies it's as if the destruction sequemces are the center of the film, while the plot and characters are simply a minor afterthought thrown in. A good example of this is "The Day After Tomorrow", a movie which I enjoy watching for the CGI destruction, but is in truth just an awful, awful film. Some of the characters and their storylines in there made me want to gouge my eyes out with toothpicks (no smiley emoitcon for that?) It is for this reason that most of these movies never get past the "Made for TV" category. |

Nice to see the action captures for this movie Neptune, I find the movie as actually quite bad (not a surprise though), and sadly I didn't like the way the action was filmed, if I remember correctly scenes were cut too fast and the edition didn't make it look like the action was happening at high speed (if you know what I mean) |

I just finished watching it, I thought it wasn't too bad actually, certainly better than many other action films I've seen. I actually felt somewhat involved with the charachters instead of seeing them as just some corny cliche like in Die Hard. The only thing that really bugged me was when the protagonist "just happened" to be next to a classic Camaro to carjack and use in a chase... that was a big eye-rolling moment, would've made the movie much better if it was just a regular car. |
