While I've only been to one of those cities, I can say with full confidence that it's beyond questionable the showrunners think they can double Oakland with Melbourne of all places .gif ":)") I doubt even the sketchiest part of the City Down Under is as bad as Oakland, particularly the area surrounding Oakland Airport... |

and set in Oakland , with some canadian tourists.. Civic has the Acura CSX tail lights and there is a Nissan X-Trail , both only sold in Canada |

As someone who lives in Oakland, it's hilarious that they chose Melbourne as the "Oakland" for this series. Surely they were better locations than the Land Down Under Can confirm that Oakland crime is definitely worse that what ever is happening at Melbourne, The In-N-Out closet to OAK closed this March due to the consent amount of break-ins at that location (saw the aftermath of one while I was there) |
