The white steering wheel has nothing to do with the manufacturing year, as it was a no cost optional extra for the whole run of the W108-series (Mercedes-Benz optional extra code 55/1). The 1968 250 S is a rare find as only 389 were made. The reason for that is that the 280 models were introduced in 1968. |
