Daihatsu Charade? Has homemade convertible conversion |

I say, it's even one size smaller, a Cuore and not a Charade. /vehicle_330173-Daihatsu-Cuore-1981.html -- Last edit: 2010-12-23 19:38:49 (antp) |

I tend to 1983+ Suzuki Swift. |

If this is a Cuore, the only turbo sold in UK for this bodywork was the (deep breath) Cuore Avanzato TR-XX R4, Oct 97- 1999. 3 door hatch with 16 valve 659cc turbo, 64bhp, 4wd, and small enough to be picked up and carried home in a Tesco plastic bag. |

Episode aired in 1996. |

Only Charade Turbos in Uk were 1990-93 Turbo diesel (5 door), probably the 90-93 GTti and then a gap until the 97 1.3 GTi. Both the GTti/GTi versions were 3 door, but I can't definitely confirm if either or both were turbo (but the 97 one is too late for the episode date anyway). -- Last edit: 2010-12-22 21:31:00 |

Oh, this "Turbo" badge could be only wishful thinking tunning! |

I must change my mind. It's 1983+ Daihatsu Charade. Link to "karachi.olx.com.pk" The best proof -> engine bay photo: Link to "images04.olx.com.pk" |

You don't have an "M" on your car? |
◊ 2010-12-23 19:18 |
How did you guess? I owned E30 316i with "M" on trunk lid! Some previous owners' silly souvenir. -- Last edit: 2010-12-23 19:18:36 |

Is this a Cuore, too? Or a Suzuki Alto? It has lost its badge! No, it was not abandoned, it was a daily driver. |

Definitely Alto. |

So in UK, March 84+ Turbo [G11] would fit. 3 or 5 door, "Turbo badging, new grille, integrated spoiler bumpers ... ", discontinued June 85 (5 door), Sept 85 (3 door). |
