This location was real. It's the original "Checkpoint Charlie" in Berlin, view into East Berlin. In the house on the right, there is a real recommended museum about the Wall. You see it's logo, behind the hairdresser ("Wella": shampoo) and the film- and tourist-shop ("Agfa": films). The well known sentence "You are leaving the American sector..." I have still in use - as T-Shirt and mousepad A lady, I know, had missed a big chance. She lived very close to one Wall-borderpoint in the late 80ies. In the evening of the 9th November 1989, she heard the noise of the East-Germans, coming into West-Berlin. She thought immediately "That's my chance!" and run out of the house, with tools in their hand - but this "You are leaving..."-sign was still stolen shortly before. |

I have it on the keychain that holds the keys to my Cougar. I got it when I visted Berlin a few years ago. |

You got it in that museum-shop? There they have the biggest choice of it. |
